This technology specific (Injection Moulding, Extrusion blow moulding, Injection Stretch Blow Moulding, Blown Film Extrusion, Compounding, etc.) skills program is aimed at assisting novice learners (operators, packers, quality inspectors, machine minders) achieve competence on part of the National Certificate in Plastics Manufacturing dealing with the following:

•    Health, Safety & housekeeping
•    Process technology basics
•    Monitoring & operating the equipment
•    Product quality inspection
•    Finished goods handling
•    Basic maintenance
•    Formative assessments & related assignments

Venue: Run in-plant only
Min / Max no of candidates: 8 / 13 learners

Min entry level: Completed NQF Level 1 / Equivalent and / or relevant experience
