PACKER TRAINING IN PLASTICS MANUFACTURING

 

Provides learners with an overview of the plastics manufacturing operation and the skills needed to oversee the manufacture of the project. This course is ideal for those just entering the plastics industry - no prior training is necessary. 

 QUALITY PERFORMANCE IN PLASTICS MANUFACTURING NQF LEVEL 2

This training course teaches entry level soft skills of the plastics manufacturing learnership NQF level 2

PRODUCTION & RAW MATERIAL TECHNOLOGY NQF LEVEL 2  

This training course teaches entry level technical skills of the plastics manufacturing learnership NQF level 2

QUALITY PERFORMANCE IN PLASTICS MANUFACTURING NQF LEVEL 3

This training course teaches intermediate level soft skills of the plastics manufacturing learnership NQF level 3 and is intended for those who have successfully completed the NQF 2 Quality & Soft Skills course

PRODUCTION & RAW MATERIAL TECHNOLOGY NQF LEVEL 3

This training course teaches intermediate level technical skills of the plastics manufacturing learnership NQF level 3 and is   the next step for those who have completed the NQF 2 Technical Skills course

RAW MATERIAL TECHNOLOGY IN PLASTICS MANUFACTURING NQF LEVEL 2&3

  

This 4 day course provides principles of material identification through to material behaviours under production conditions which are comprehensively explained and illustrated. This course is ideal for Material mixers, or those who need a thorough understanding of how materials are managed under various conditions in the plastics manufacturing process

OPERATING IN PLASTICS MANUFACTURING

 

This 5 day course covers a total of 15 Unit Standards from NQF levels 2,3 and 4, and takes learners from the very basics of plastic manufacturing and provides them with the skills to oversee production, to start up, shut down and to operate plastics moulding equipment  for the best possible results. Intermediate level skills such as efficient   purging techniques, as well as how to install and remove moulds are taught. This course is run in Injection Moulding and Extrusion Blow Moulding.  

SETTING IN PLASTICS MANUFACTURING 
EQUIPMENT


This 5 day workshop provides a solid understanding from intermediate level through to an advanced application of setting techniques and problem solving. This course can be run in Injection Moulding and Extrusion Blow Moulding and covers skills programmes from NQF Levels 3,4 & 5.


ENTRY LEVEL & SETTING PLASTICS MANUFACTURING 
EQUIPMENT

  

This 8 day training workshop is a full A to Z course of plastics manufacturing and includes Skills Programmes from NQF Levels 2,3,4 & 5. It is a combination of the Operators and Setting course mentioned above, providing candidates with a solid foundation of NQF 2 and 3 basic and intermediate skills in plastics, through to advanced   and refined setting skills, including practical setting techniques and problem solving.

This course is ideal for candidates who have a few years experience with plastic manufacturing, but need to fill knowledge gaps on the basic levels in order to fully refine their setting and troubleshooting techniques. Courses are offered in Injection Moulding and Extrusion Blow Moulding.
